The challenge continues to recruit

As part of the challenge, the PatriNat Support and Research Unit (OFB-MNHN-CNRS-IRD) is looking for a data/metadata engineer. The person will join the PNDB team.

The person recruited will have the following missions

• To continue the current inventory of biodiversity data and auxiliary data (remote sensing, climate, etc.) that can be mobilised within the framework of the project, some fifty data sets, and within the framework of PNDB activities.
• Structuring the metadata to be made available to the participating consortia using the EML (Ecological Metadata Language) metadata standard for terminological resources of interest (in particular those grouped within Bioportal / Ecoportal / Agroportal)
• Ensure the application of the PNDB metadata quality criteria and the organisation of PNDB data/metadata flows on these datasets as well as on all PNDB data/metadata
• Participate in project and PNDB animation activities on metadata management and sharing
